Downloaded STL Quality Disclaimer
I cannot guarantee the structural integrity or dimensional accuracy of pre-downloaded STL files found on the internet (e.g., Thingiverse), as I did not engineer them. I will print them to the highest machine standard, but design flaws in the file are the client's responsibility.
1. Scope and Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through "3D Accessories" (hereinafter referred to as the "Seller", "we", or "us"), operating out of Athens, Greece. By placing a request and proceeding with an order, the customer (hereinafter "Client" or "you") fully accepts these Terms. These terms comply with the Greek Consumer Protection Law (Law 2251/1994) and EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
2. Exception to the Right of Withdrawal (Custom-Made Goods)
Strict compliance notice under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU: The standard European 14-day right of withdrawal DOES NOT APPLY to any orders placed with 3D Aaccessories. Because every single part is 3D printed specifically to the consumer's request, customized specifications, or reverse-engineered uniquely for the client, all goods are considered "clearly personalized". Consequently, once production (printing) has commenced, the order cannot be canceled, refunded, or returned under standard e-commerce distance selling regulations.
3. Strict No-Return Policy Post-Installation
In addition to the custom-made exemption, 3D Accessories enforces a strict no-return policy upon the physical acceptance and usage of the part. If the client accepts the delivery and proceeds to use, modify, or install the 3D-printed accessory onto a vehicle or any other mechanism, all liability for the part's continued function transfers to the client. Returns or refunds will absolutely not be issued for parts that have been installed, subjected to mechanical stress, or altered from their shipping state.
4. Client-Provided Files (STL / CAD) Liability
As an engineering service, 3D Accessories guarantees the physical execution, layer adhesion, and material quality of the print based on our optimized slicing profiles. However, we assume zero liability for structural failures, fitment issues, or aesthetic flaws resulting from poor geometry in pre-downloaded STL files or CAD files provided by the client. Quality guarantees are exclusively reserved for parts engineered and designed in-house by 3D Accessories.
5. Local Operations (Athens) and Global Shipping
For clients within Athens, Greece, in-person local measurements are offered subject to scheduling. The Seller retains the right to refuse service based on technical feasibility. For international clients, 3D Accessories ships globally. The Client is solely responsible for any import duties, customs taxes, or local clearance fees required by the destination country outside the European Union.
